Why is the app asking me to subscribe when I'm already a member?

If you're seeing prompts to subscribe to Premium even though you're already a member, there could be a few reasons why this is happening:

The app store is out of sync with JustTheRecipe

The most common reason for this issue is that the app is out of sync with your app store account. You may need to restore your purchase in order to access your Premium subscription. To do this, scroll down on the Premium upgrade prompt and look for the "Restore purchases" option. This should sync the JustTheRecipe app with your app store subscription.

You're using a different email address

When you first signed up for Premium, you may have used a different email address than the one you're currently using to sign in. Make sure you're signed in with the correct email address.

Your subscription has lapsed

If your subscription has lapsed or expired, you will see prompts to renew your subscription. This could be due to the payment method on file expiring or being declined, so please check your payment method to see if this is the case.

Your subscription is associated with a different app store

We have three different payment systems depending on which platform you use to subscribe: iOS, Android, and the web. If you subscribe on one platform and want to use your Premium benefits on another, you'll need to sign into the same JustTheRecipe account on both devices. If you originally subscribed without creating a JustTheRecipe account on iOS or Android, just sign in and your subscription will become automatically linked with that account.
